6 ways to use essential oils for household cleaning!

Once you have your selection of essential oils, here are a few ways you can put them to use! Don’t forget to use a glass bottle when making your own oil blends.
1 ½ cup white vinegar
½ cup water
8 x drops of lemon essential oil
Mix ingredients in a 500ml glass spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto glass surfaces and wipe with a paper towel or cloth to enjoy a streak-free glass and great lemon scent!
Simply add a few drops of lemon or lime to the dishwasher before use for sparkling dishes and a great smelling dishwasher!
5 x drops of Lemon essential oil
5 x drops of White Fir essential oil
Mix the essential oils with the water and store in a small glass spray bottle. Use this blend to spray on areas with mildew to kill the growth of mould.
GARBAGE BIN DEODORISER
5 x drops of your chosen deodorising essential oil (refer to the list above!)
1 x tablespoon of baking powder
Simply combine the baking powder with the essential oil drops and sprinkle the mixture into your garbage bin to remove any lingering smells!
Simply dab a dust cloth with a few drops of your chosen essential oil and use it to wipe down any wooden furniture as a simple polish!
1 x cup of baking soda
20 x drops of lemon essential oil or cleansing blend
Mix the baking soda with your essential oil drops in a glass jar. Close the jar tightly with a lid, shake the mixture together and leave overnight. Once ready, sprinkle lightly over carpets and let it sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming.
