5 Ways to Strengthen Your Aura!

Your aura is essentially an energy shield surrounding your body. A strong aura helps to protect you from negative energy, but a weak aura can make you more vulnerable to negative environments.
Luckily, there are some simple ways to strengthen your aura and make a positive impact on your overall health and wellbeing. From selenite cleansing to spending time in nature, keep reading for 5 ways to strengthen your aura below!
Regularly cleanse with sage or selenite
Regularly cleansing your aura is a great way to ward off negative energy. Sage smudging and selenite can both be used to cleanse your aura of unwanted energy, while also purifying your surrounding environment.
To cleanse your aura with sage smudging, light one end of your sage stick until it’s smoking softly. In gentle movements, wave the stick over your body from head to toe, paying special attention to the locations of the seven chakras. When you’re finished, simply open the windows to let the smoke out.
You can also cleanse your aura in a similar manner using a selenite wand. Hold the wand a few inches away from your body, and sweep it from head to toe while visualising any negative energy being removed from your aura.
Avoid things that zap your energy
Our aura can be impacted by our surrounding environment, so try to avoid the things, people and places that tend to zap your energy. Instead, find things that bring you joy and make you happy! This could be painting, journaling, dancing, photography, exercise or other hobbies.
Use black tourmaline crystal
Black tourmaline crystal symbolises safety, protection and grounding, making it a wonderful stone for energetic clearing. To strengthen your aura, try carrying a piece of black tourmaline in your pocket, or incorporating it into your meditation practice.
Reduce time on screens
Spending too much time on electronic devices like phones, tablets and computers can quickly drain your energy and leave you feeling tired, unmotivated and lethargic. Try to set a limit on your screen time each day where possible, and see if this makes a difference to your overall mood and energy levels.
Spend time in nature
Spending time outdoors in nature is a powerful way to cleanse and strengthen your aura. Go for a swim in the ocean, soak up the sun, and walk with your bare feet on the ground! Nature has an incredibly strong positive energy and helps to keep you relaxed while connecting you to the earth.
